There are a number of email lists that are designed to be used for internal communications at Eastern Mennonite School:
everyone@emhs.net - All faculty and staff across all of EMS, including EMES
facstaff@emhs.net - All faculty and staff at EMMS/EMHS only
emesfacstaff@emhs.net - EMES faculty and staff only
emms@emhs.net - EMMS faculty and staff only
faculty@emhs.net - Only teaching faculty at EMMS/EMHS
staff@emhs.net - Only 12-month staff at EMMS/EMHS
Lists for contacting roles within EMS:
itsupport@emhs.net - Emails Andrew & Mike for technology support
maintenance@emhs.net - Emails Tyler, Dex, and Mike for maintenance issues
To send an email message to a particular list, simply send the message to the appropriate email address listed above. If you are unsure of who is subscribed to any of these lists (including possibly whether or not you yourself are subscribed to a list), please ask Mike Stoltzfus.
These lists are for internal communication only, and will not be used for communication with parents for weekly update newsletters, etc. Also, please note that only those email addresses that are members of the list can send to it – this is primarily to prevent spam, but also means parents, students, and the “general public” will not be able to send to these lists. It also means that, for instance, a staff person at EMHS could not send a message to the emesfacstaff@emhs.net list, since they are not a member of that list.
